We took Riley, Liebe, and Kafer to the bark park yesterday. A bit too cold for us humans, but the dogs had a blast! This was a new bark park to Riley, we have never been, and were invited by Leibe and Kafer's humans, Lenny & Joe. Liebe is Riley's girlfriend...she seems to have claimed Riley as hers, so it was super funny to see Riley "flirting" (and more ;), ;) ) with a female hound at the bark park, and Leibe hauling butt from across the field knocking into the both of them sending all three dogs rolling. Once she righted herself, Leiba went after the hound as if to say "stay away from my man"! She was cracking us up, she would not leave the little hound dog alone! Once Leibe holds still enough for me to snap a photo, I will post!
This is a photo of Riley, Kafer, and Homer (Riley's very BFF) playing in our backyard. Riley and Homer play daily, and Kafer and Liebe are starting to be a part of their daily ritual too. Homer was being ganged on upon this time, but Homer can get some running action going when he wants to! With Riley and Homer, Riley is usually the agressive more dominant dog, however, with Kafer, she rules!
I have to say, I take so much happiness and joy away from watching Riley as well as the other dogs...when they are playing and roaming, I never have a bad thought, nothing is pressing on my mind, and they always leave me cracking up and smiling. Such good therapy...everyone should own a dog or other pet!
This gorgeuos creature is Kafer (I hope I spelled her name correctly!) She is a beautiful shepard owned by Lenny & Joe, they live across the street. When Riley and I go outside, Riley always drags me across the street so he can go see her(and Homer too!).
Kafer is an amazing listener...she follows all the commands that Lenny gives, and loves to play ball, and never seems to get tired.
This is Riley's best bud Homer. Riley plays with Homer every day. He reminds us of the little dog in Men in Black!
