I am lovin' this Sunday...no particular reason other than, got to wake up and spend the morning with my hubby, we packed up the dog in the Jeep and took off for breakfast and had a yummy ranchero omelet, went to the apple orchard to get the "Ida Reds" (they are a late bloom apple that are just delicious and make a pink applesauce!), then took a leisurely drive back home to see the remnants of fall colors!
He took off to his Dad's house for a bit, and I took off on a hunt to the dollar store for lots of a certain kind of barrette. I am fastening lots of little rubber mice/rats to them for part of my Halloween costume! Will post pictures of what it looks like when I am done. I have not found the barrettes just yet, but I scored a new black purse, a frame (for embellishing), and two glass mugs to use with some rub-ons! will have to hunt down barrette's tomorrow!
It was certainly windy, cold, and cloudy, and it even rained, but right now, the clouds have parted, and the sun is shining gloriously!
Back to lovin' this Sunday...my guys are close by--hubby is in our room watching the NASCAR race, i am in my office next to our bedroom and our dog Riley is sleeping on his bed having a doggie dream...complete with whimpers, soft little "ruff's", and little leg running!!! Cracks me up when he does that!
I just love this, we are all together, but yet separate. I can hear both my guys breathing and it seems so comforting and I am content! ooops race is off, hubby going out to the garage now!
Bummer, that was not long!!!
Going downstairs to make a pot of coffee to keep us warm!
