Time flies, it certainly does. Christmas just flew by and felt like any other day. It was here in a blink and with no snow, it just did not feel like Christmas...
I am certain, as many others have done, we cut back on the gifts this year, resigning ourselves to $35 for each niece and nephew. We cut back with my DH's side of the family too. I did not bake cookies to give out nor did I make fudge like I have in the past. My DH and I did not gift each other. Times are tough and only time will reveal what other financial and work challenges we will have in our near future. It is scary to reflect of where we were at the beginning of 2008 and how 2008 is ending. Things are definitely different.
With all the "blah" from above, this will be it for 2008--we are committed to making significant changes for our betterment, both financially, health, and home. We plan on making our 2009 an excellent year, despite the rest of the country!
Here are some photo's of my cutie nieces from this Christmas... this is Holly with her Christmas gift from my brother (her uncle)...just what she wanted too!
this is Morgayne, a cutie patootie, taking a break from hot chocolate and marshmallows!
And this little cutie is Lucy Belle, she is absolutely adorable!
Here is my nephew Jake, opening his new stereo and iPod docking station. He was happy to have this, and now thinks that he can compete now with the volume of Holly's stereo!
